A five week introduction to working with digital images.
The course begins with the basics of digital images and gradually introduces advanced skills, permitting each student to learn the skills necessary to get the most out of their digital images. Through class presentations, group critiques, discussions and four assignments, students are provoked to push their digital skills further.
The course is designed for the digital SLR camera user but is appropriate for all digital image users. The class will be presented using both Mac and PC computers, with a variety of software (iPhoto®, IrfanView, Adobe Photoshop CS3®, Adobe Bridge CS3® and Adobe Lightroom 2.1®).

Course Expectations
Students are expected to bring image files to class each week for group review and discussion.
Requirements
A working knowledge of a Mac or PC computer is required.
